This personal project was born from a generated brief, but soon was discovered as one of the most fun, surprising projects for me. It required to come up with a brand name, logo, and visual system for a company that creates and distribute video games for women. While the gaming field mostly dedicated to men, I loved the idea of something a bit different that was brought to the table. I first brainstormed a name that plays with words from the computer world, and that’s how “LadyBug” was born. After figuring this part, I started to sketch ideas for the logo – I knew it needed to be sophisticated, bold, and feminine. I played with shapes of ladybugs and elements of gaming controllers, until I reached the final results. Then I moved forward to find other graphic elements that are a good match with the visual identity and worked on a few icons for the company.
